In order for a population to sustain itself, its fertility rate must remain above a certain average number of children per female -- about 2.1, to make up for accidents and other sources of mortality. That has little to do with total population, which can be supplemented by outsiders, but means a great deal to a group or culture. For example, if the Amish suddenly stopped having children, their entire society would disappear in a few decades. The total population of the area would probably increase, as other people moved in to take advantage of all that empty rolling farmland. In the same way, but in a larger sense, the citizens of industrialised nations across the globe are breeding themselves out of existence. Or, more to the point, not breeding. "During the postwar labor shortage in the 1950s and 1960s, Turks, Algerians, Moroccans, Tunisians, and Pakistanis were called to help spur Europe's economic recovery. No host country expected these 'guestworkers,' as the Germans called them with characteristic frankness, to overstay their welcome. Like all good guests, they were supposed to leave, preferably when the recession hit and the party was over in the 1970s. They didn't. Instead, their families joined them, and new generations of European Turks, Algerians, Moroccans, Tunisians, and Pakistanis were born. "More are on the way. Today, the Muslim birth rate in Europe is three times higher than the non-Muslim one. If current trends continue, the Muslim population of Europe will nearly double by 2015, while the non-Muslim population will shrink by 3.5 percent." By far the largest and fastest-growing demographic across Europe is the Muslim population. However, Europe's government-controlled economies still afford few opportunities for immigrants and their descendants, especially those segregated by their own xenophobic religion from the rest of what is supposed to be their country. Their group identity, their allegiance if you will, is primarily Muslim, instead of French, Norwegian or British. A study of British Muslims in 2006 found that only one in four responded affirmatively to the question, "Is Britain my country or 'their' country?" Thirty percent said they would prefer to live under shari'a (Islamic religious) law than under British law. Twenty-eight percent hope for the United Kingdom to become a fundamentalist Islamic state. It's almost certain that these numbers reflect the values of Muslims across Europe. Within a few decades, as the Muslim population continues to grow and that of "old" Europe to shrink, those who think this way will be a significant political force. Another problem is that, while not all Muslims are terrorists, far too many either support terrorist groups or are simply indifferent to their activities. Large unassimilated Muslim populations give terrorists cover to move about freely. And sometimes, they "explode" of their own accord, as shown by the ongoing low-level revolution taking place in France. According to Michel Thoomis, secretary general of the Action Police trade union, quoted in October 2006: "We are in a state of civil war, orchestrated by radical Islamists. This is not a question of urban violence any more. It is an intifada, with stones and Molotov cocktails ... You no longer see two or three youths confronting police, you see whole tower blocks emptying into the streets to set their 'comrades' free when they are arrested." Already, swelling Muslim populations have had an effect on politics and laws. Even the Church of England is considering whether to boot St. George from his position as patron saint of England, because his warlike image and his symbol -- a red cross on a white background -- might be seen as "offensive" to Muslims. Not even our staunch allies the Brits have the fortitude to stand up for their own culture. What hope is there for the rest of Europe? It won't be long before France, followed by the rest of Europe, falls under the slow creep of radical Muslim domination. And if you think Europe is a hotbed of anti-Americanism now, just wait and see how well Eurabia loves us. See also: An Influx of Immigrants 2: America |

| Thor H. Asgardson November 28, 2006 01:24 PM PST It has become quite clear to the American people that the guest worker phenomenon is global in scope, perpetrated by the multinational corporations, which owe allegiance to no nation. In the Eastern Hemisphere, it is the Islamic guest worker, who comes to supplant Western man. In the Western Hemisphere, it is of course, the Mestizo invader, who is making dual citizenship extortion demands in our city streets. The guest worker "phenomenon" is perpetrated onto a populace by cynical politicians, who imagine they are getting a new slave class to do jobs their own people ostensibly "will not do." Given the historical problem with guest workers, now being acknowledged by Europe; one can readily see that wherever the guest worker parasite is hosted, the local population declines, as it is supplanted by an alien race. Guest workers have brought riots, murder, and arson to Holland, Germany and France. They have blown up railroad cars in Spain, and of course they have committed the events which transpired on 9-11-01. Therefore any guest worker program enables the Third World to gain a toehold on the continent which is set in their sights for conquest. This vanguard of an invading guerrilla army from the Third World, is now global in scope, as it is perpetrated and enabled by the direct collusion of corporations, which seek slave workers. As Europe morphs into Eurabia, and our own president proposes the abolishment of our borders; the ascendancy of Big Brother is most assured. The great task for all Americans, is to retain our country, and recognize the danger posed by any guest worker program which grants a "path to citizenship." Once a guest worker becomes a dual citizen of the host country; he is free to undermine the host culture, by influencing the political process, and thereby completing the process of absorption and pacification of the native population. In addition, he will no longer be willing to "do jobs Americans won't do." Thus the cycle of continual invasion is required to replace those slaves who have moved up in the host society. As our population grows; our cities begin to resemble the slums of Calcutta and Hong Kong, as the greatest military power on Earth, morphs into a flophouse for itinerant international bums and terrorists. In the example posed by Mexico; we have now seen just what happens when 500,000 angry guest workers "come out of the shadows" to provide a spectacle of conquest in our city streets. They raise the Mexican banner of Reconquista over Los Angeles and other American cities, while carrying placards which read: "This is our country--not yours." They have become the New Palestinians, with an axe to grind. Given the Mexican invasion of America--as evidenced by the hoisting of the Mexican flag--there can be NO concessions made to guest workers, without holding Mexico directly accountable for the breaking into, occupation, and attempted annexation of American territory. The American people are opposed to any guest worker program which does not require terms of surrender to be signed by Mexico, in this Second Mexican War. It is not a question of whether to play host to the guest worker parasite, but one of whether we should be dissolving our borders to usher in one world government. The guest worker question of the president is nothing more than smoke and mirrors, which obscures the basic fact of Mexican invasion of the United States of America. Mexico is under the illusion that American territory belongs to Mexico. A guest worker program, with a path to American citizenship, will give legitimacy to those who come to supplant Western man. Until such time as Mexico formally recognizes the borders of the United States--and respects our territorial integrity--any consideration of a guest worker program for invaders, is nothing more than treason against the nation. | ||
| Friend of USA December 3, 2006 03:43 PM PST Cavalier, As a Canadian ( a conservative of course ) I am really concerned with what is happening in the USA. Canada is the little row boat being towed behind the gigantic ship that the USA is, and if the USA sails trhough troubled waters, so does Canada, if the USA sinks, we sink with you. Cavalier, I wish you would write longer pieces because you are an excellent writer. Keep up the good work! | ||
